As a Ukrainian citizen looking for protection in Switzerland, you are eligible for the protection status S in Switzerland. With this, you are allowed to stay here, bring family members, go to school and work in Switzerland.

Tips for the job search and application process in Switzerland

Since you are new in Switzerland, here are some tips about our country and about the application process here:

Being polite and punctual is very important in private and professional life.
It’s usually not common in Swiss society to criticize other people directly. We tend to be very diplomatic.
In Switzerland companies often have more than one interview round before hiring a candidate.
Sometimes things here will take a bit more time than in the Ukraine.
It is not common to talk about the salary at the beginning of the job interview.
