Template Plus is replacing job ad layouts and direct links for improved performance
Our Goal: By the beginning of April 2024, migrate all our personalised layouts (Customized Layout / Inserate Design Plus) and ads with direct links to Template Plus.
Why the Change?
Our decision to introduce Template Plus arises from our dedication to meeting the needs and desires of our clients while staying ahead of the evolving technical landscape. Our current templates utilize iframes*, which are no longer considered industry best practice and pose challenges in terms of user experience and security. Additionally, Template Plus requires fewer job ad views to generate an application compared to URLs/direct links and all other templates. This transition will affect users currently utilizing Customized Layout, Inserate Design Plus, and Direct Links setup.
*iframes: a container that loads external documents, such as HTML pages, within a parent page. It has been commonly used in our current templates but presents challenges in user experience, security and compatibility.
How will my job ad look like, if I don't change anything?
Enter the direct URL of your job ad from jobs.ch or jobup.ch.*
*Please make sure to use only the link from the your job ad page, not the research results page.
What do you need to do?
We had allocated a transition period from July 2023 until April 3rd, 2024 to facilitate a smooth switch for all clients. After that deadline, ALL existing templates will switch automatically to Template Plus.
We encourage you to transition to Template Plus before the deadline, in order to personalize your template and be ready for the change. Below you find the FAQ with instructions on how to migrate to Template Plus, according to your publication method:
Migration & Support
Assistance and Communication: Our Product Support team has communicated the necessary technical details to ATS providers. Additionally, our Customer Support and Sales teams are available to assist you with any questions and provide guidance on migrating to Template Plus.
Technical Integration: If you currently utilize an XML interface or a paid crawler to publish job ads, please read the instructions in the FAQ. If you have any questions please reach out to service@jobcloud.ch for further assistance.
